These last two weeks have been a whirlwind of saying Bon Voyage to many of our friends here in town. I don't really like good bye, and have been known to say 'see you soon' -- even when it is highly unlikely to see someone soon. I don't like the finality about it. Things can always change! These days especially, technology and airplanes keep us close to those we love. AND, perhaps a learning from the first time we sailed across the pacific, someone that you saw in your last port...might just be in the next one. Its a good lesson for us in many walks of life. Build relationships and never burn bridges. You never know if that boat across the bay may need to come to your rescue next time you need help.
It was an amazing week, and thank you to those of you we've been able to spend some quality time with this week--friends, family, co-workers. Thank you for your hugs, encouragement, reminiscing about many good times and we look forward to seeing you in the next harbor....
